Proposals will be opened and read aloud at the Greene County Board of Commissioners Office, Suite 201. Proposals received after the stated time will not be accepted. The Owner of the project is Greene County. The Engineer for the project is Holt Consulting Company, LLC.
Scope of Work
It is the desire of Greene County to address the need to fence in three recently acquired tracts of land adjacent to the Runway 7 end of the airfield which includes demolition of two structures on the old Hatsis property, removal of damaged existing chain link fence, and installation of new fencing around the airport boundary. Also included in the project is the removal of all obstructions within the Runway 7 primary surface located on the newly acquired parcels.
Construction Contract Time
Construction contract time for Runway 7 Obstruction Removal and Fencing Improvements Project, if awarded, will be completed in:
Base Bid Award – Twenty-Eight (28) Consecutive Calendar Days from the date of Notice-to-Proceed.

Bid Withdrawal
No bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of One Hundred and Twenty (120) days. A Notice-of-Award for the Contract will be issued once a successful bidder has been determined and funding has been secured.
