Invitation to Bid
The Elbert County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed bids to provide approximately 5000 square feet of flooring at Central Fire Station, 132 Mahoney Drive, Elberton, GA. Bidders must call 706-283-4256 to set up a time to view the jobsite. For more information contact Bobby Howell at 706-283-2000 or email bhowell@elbertga.us.
The County will receive bids until 4:00pm on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at which time bids will be opened at the following address: Elbert County Board of Commissioners, 45 Forest Avenue, Elberton, Georgia, 30635. Bids received after that time and date will not be considered. Bids must be sealed in an envelope and the words “A sealed bid” must appear on the outside of the envelope. Send bids to the above address with ATT. Bobby Howell. Faxed or e-mailed bids cannot be accepted. Bids will be awarded at 5:30pm on Monday February 13, 2023 at the above address.
All Bidders shall comply with the provisions of the Systematic Alien Verification of Entitlements (SAVE) program and the federal eVerify program.
The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids not in conformity with these instructions, and the County reserves the right to cancel the bid opening or the anticipated purchase.
