Owner Mobile County Public Schools Location Mobile, Alabama Bid Date March 26, 2024 10:00 am Bid Type Sealed Bid Pre-bid Meeting A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for 10:00 am, Tuesday March 19, 2024 and will be held at:

MCPSS - 1 Magnum Pass, Mobile, Alabama, Facilities Conference Room, Building F Additional Bid Information Scope of work to include but not limited to the following: Removal of existing concrete canopies and replacement with new aluminum walkway canopies and concrete footings, replacement of canopy to wall flashings, and all associated work required to provide a complete, functioning, weatherproof and warrantable project. Removal of electrical items under the existing canopies and replacement with new lighting and conduits and other electrical items removed from existing canopies.

This work shall include, but not be limited to the following:
1. Full conformance with all requirements of the Contract Documents.
2. All layout required for the Work.
3. All necessary safety requirements and protective measures that relate to the Work,and pose exposure to workers on other projects and the general public.
4. Demolition and removal of existing items indicated not to remain.
5. Furnish all disposal equipment required for removal of demolition work, scrap, and debris.
6. All waste and excess material not intended for use, shall be removed from Owner’s property on a daily basis and disposed of properly.
7. Maintain on a regular daily basis a broom-clean work area free of debris, including installation areas, material storage areas, and at all times access ways
to and from the Work areas.
8. When the Work is completed, remove all tools, equipment, dunnage, unused materials, and debris from the Owner’s property to provide a clean and safe site.
9. Tools, equipment and material security is responsibility of the Contractor.
10. Coordinate this Contractor’s work with the work of other contractors whose work relates to this work.
11. This work shall be completed in accordance with the project schedule stipulated in the Contract Document. Download Documents
