Advertisement for Sealed Bid of Building: The Ellard House

Clarke County School District, acting by and through its Board of Education (“CCSD”) is seeking bids for the structure known as the Ellard House located at 595 Prince Avenue, Athens, Georgia 30601 (the “House”). The sale will be of the structure only, which the successful bidder will be required to remove from the property as set forth below. Ownership will be conveyed by Bill of Sale.

The House is briefly described as follows: The House is a 2 story, wood frame building with approximately 4585 square feet of heated space with 667 square feet of covered wrap around front porch and 152 square feet of a covered back porch. The House is supported by masonry piers in a crawl space.

CCSD reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

The House is being sold “as is.” CCSD makes no representations or warranties concerning the condition of the House, the suitability of the House for the Purchaser’s intended uses, or any other matter.

Bids should be sealed and clearly marked on outside of envelope

Bids are to be received no later than 2:00p.m. on April 30, 2024 and will be opened at that time at the District Services Building of the Clarke County School District, 145 Paradise Bld., Athens, Georgia 30607.
