INVITATION FOR BID: IFB 24-001 - 2024 Streets Resurfacing

The City of Powder Springs will be seeking qualified, experienced, and licensed contractors with demonstrated skills and experience in providing construction services for the traffic control, milling, base reclamation, patching, asphalt topping, striping and marking, and all other work necessary for the completion of the project. The aforementioned project scope will contain the following streets: Bridle Court from Saddleridge Road to End, Brittany Drive from Frank Aiken Road to End, Hopeland Court from Hopeland Drive to End, Lawler Drive from Florence Road to End, Macedonia Drive from Macedonia Road to City Limit, McNeel Ind Way from Fambrough Drive to End, Ten Oaks Court from Hopkins Court to End, Wager Court from Furlong Way to End, Frank Aiken Road from Oglesby Road to Akins Ridge Court, Hopeland Drive from Hopeland Court to St. Claire Place, New Town Drive from End to End, Saddleridge Road from Steeplechase Drive to End, Spring Ind Drive from Fambrough Drive to End, Fambrough Drive from Florence Road to End, Florence Road from C. H. James Parkway to Shipp Road, Furlong Way from Saddleridge Road to End, Mustang Drive from Palomino Drive to Wildhorse Drive, and Palomino Drive Culdesac at Palomino Drive and Mustang Drive. This proposal shall include all materials, labor, equipment, and miscellaneous related items to complete this project in accordance with the terms of the Invitation For Bid (“IFB”), any resulting contract, and the construction documents/specifications prepared by Croy Engineering, LLC for the City of Powder Springs. Prospective submitters can obtain bid document by emailing Roy Acree at racree@croyeng.com to download the Document Package and any Addenda.

The proposals shall be submitted to 1114 Richard D. Sailors Pkwy., Powder Springs, GA 30127 prior to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. All inquiries and questions shall be made to racree@croyeng.com on or before 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024.

The City of Powder Springs reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities, informalities, and technicalities, award the contract in the best interest of the City of Powder Springs or to request re-proposal. The City of Powder Springs reserves the right to accept all or any part of the proposal and to increase or decrease quantities to meet additional or reduced requirements of the City of Powder Springs. The City also reserves the right to cancel the agreement with the successful submitter. The City of Powder Springs will not be obligated to award contracts based solely on price or low proposal. The full cost of this proposal shall be borne by the submitting company.
