1.2COMPETITIVE COST SEALED PROPOSALS

Sealed proposals for construction of Water System Improvements to Serve AE Harris Road will be received until 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 2018 King's Chapel Road, Perry, GA 31069 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. Any proposal received after said time and date will not be considered by the Owner. No proposal may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of sixty (60) days.

1.3SCOPE OF WORK

The project consists of, but is not limited to, the following major elements:

Offeror agrees to furnish all materials and equipment and to perform all labor necessary to install ±8,100 LF of 12” PVC water main, ±400 LF of 16” Ductile Iron water main with restrained joints, jack and bores, fire hydrants, valves, fittings, and all related work.

Time allotted for completion of Work is 150 consecutive calendar days from the date of a written “Notice to Proceed” from OWNER. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The Work will be awarded in one (1) Contract. The following project schedule will be strictly adhered to:

Pre-Proposal Conference: January 18, 2023 (Mandatory)

Proposal Opening: January 26, 2023

Award of Contract: February 7, 2023

Preconstruction Conference: February 16, 2023

Notice to Proceed: March 6, 2023
