Resurfacing of Various County Roads

The intent of this invitation is to obtain competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors for cement stabilized reclaimed base, asphalt milling, and hot-mix asphalt placement on 34 County roads (approximately 14 miles). This includes but is not limited to traffic control (including temporary striping), cement stabilized base reclamation (8” thick with the addition of Portland Cement), milling (2 inches), resurfacing, the placement and sanding of asphalt prime, building shoulders (including grassing) and striping placement of pavement marking. Bids will only be considered by those bidders and subcontractors currently pre-qualified with the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Bids will be received by Henry County, Purchasing Department, 140 Henry Parkway, Room 209, McDonough, GA 30253 until 3:00 PM local time on February 14, 2024. Late bids will not be considered nor returned.

Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the time and date set for closing, except as allowed by OCGA. Henry County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities.
