The Southern Georgia Regional Commission (SGRC) as the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization for the Valdosta Urbanized Area (VLMPO) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for the completion of the VLMPO 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). The Metropolitan Transportation Plan is one of the most important core documents of the Valdosta-Lowndes Metropolitan Planning Organization. The goal of this MTP is the identification of the best transportation investments for the Valdosta-Lowndes Metropolitan Planning Area based on the expedited growth and development rate that the VLMPO Area is experiencing.
