Separate, sealed bids will be received for the installation of a radium removal system located in the City of Jacksonville, Georgia, which was purchased under a previous contract, and shall be funded with Fiscal Year 2021 Community Development Block Grant Funds, Grant No, 21p-x-134-2-6220. Bids will be received until 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at which time bids will be opened and read.

The meeting will be held at the City of Jacksonville and will be opened to the public. Proposals can be mailed or delivered to the attention of Mr. Terry Neal, for the City of Jacksonville, P.O. Box 7, Jacksonville, Georgia 31544 or 12 Water Tower Road, Jacksonville, Georgia 31544.

There will be a Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference held at 10:00 am local time, on, Tuesday February 7, 2023. This conference will be held at the City of Jacksonville City Hall located at 12 Water Tower Road, Jacksonville, Georgia 31544. This pre-bid conference is mandatory for all contractors intending to submit a proposal as the prime contractor.

The Scope of Work Includes: Installation of Radium Removal System

All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the City of Jacksonville in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid.

All work on the project must be completed within 120 consecutive calendar days of date of Notice to Proceed.
