Bids for Parking Area Improvements for the Worth County EDA will be received until ¬5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 by the EDA, at 122 N. Main Street (P.O. Box 768), Sylvester, GA 31791. Bids will be opened and reviewed by the EDA Board members the following morning. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of 60 days.

Contractor performing work must be licensed in accordance with the work perform as required by the State.

Work To Be Done includes all products and labor for the Parking Area Improvements: 14,000 sqft concrete paving replacement (4000 PSI w/ commercial fiber) (minimum thickness 6 in), joints to be pegged and all other requirements for completion. Existing concrete to be demolished shall be stockpiled and removed by others. Area to be improved is rear of building located at 103 Old State Route 50, Sylvester, GA 31791. Assume existing lot has good dirt and compaction. Work will be awarded in 1 contract with a time of 60 consecutive calendar days.

Bid will not include technical plans or specifications. Work is described above. Contract documents will be prepared with awarded bidder. Questions may be directed to Karen Rackley, Executive Director Worth County EDA (229-776-7599).

Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10% of amount bid. If awarded the Contract, awarded bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount. Bonds must appear on the Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 Listing.

There will be no pre-bid conference.

No permits are expected.

No land acquisition is expected.

Any Contract awarded under this Invitation to Bid is expected to be funded by the Worth County EDA.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and re-advertise.
