This project includes but is not limited to the erosion and sediment control, traffic control including detour plan and signage, roadway and stormwater demolition, utility relocation and improvements of potable water distribution and sanitary sewer collection systems, grading, installation of multiple new precast stormwater box culverts and related infrastructure, reconstruction of roadway sidewalks and related structures, and all related appurtenances.

A Non-Mandatory Prebid Conference will be held at 10:00 AM EST on August 29th, 2023 at the Newnan City Hall – 25 Lagrange St. S. Newnan, GA 30263. Any questions pertaining to the requirements of the Contract Documents either procedural or technical, shall be in writing and are to be submitted via email to aprice@fdc-llc.com and jbrown@fdc-llc.com by 12:00 PM Noon EST on September 5th, 2023.

Sealed Bids will be received until 2:00 PM EST on, September 12th, 2023 and then publicly opened and read aloud. Bids are to be submitted at the Newnan City Hall – Attention: Megan Shea – City Clerk;
25 Lagrange St. S.; Newnan, GA 30263; Reference: “CULVERT SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS SAVANNAH ST. & PINSON ST.”.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than 5% of the total bid amount. The Bid Bond may be in the form of a bond issued by a surety acceptable to the City or a cashier’s check made payable to the City of Newnan, Georgia.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the sum of 100% of the total amount bid and provide insurance coverage as required in the Contract Documents.
