The Department seeks to procure a safety/risk management system to manage occupational injuries, illnesses, and fatalities. The system will identify groups at increased risk and provide data to target and measure the effectiveness of prevention efforts. It will also manage workplace safety claims, property/equipment damages, inspections, hazardous materials, and training. Furthermore, the system is expected to utilize national standards for tracking and monitoring occupational health.
