Please be advised that the Toombs County Board of Education is currently accepting sealed proposals for school bus fleet and motor vehicle insurance coverage. The current policy expires on February 27, 2023; all interested parties must be able to ensure coverage will be effective February 27, 2023. The policy period for all proposals shall be for a one year term from February 27, 2023 to February 27, 2024. A proposal for a one year term is mandatory however proposals for two and three year terms may also be submitted if more cost effective. Any proposal submitted for a multiyear term that does not also include the mandatory one year proposal term will be disqualified. The Board has the discretion to evaluate all proposals and choose the term in the best interest of the school district.
