Description


The City of Norcross, Georgia requests qualified individuals and firms with experience in household hazardous waste collection events to submit a quotation for one household paint and chemicals collections event (commonly referred to as a household hazardous waste (HHW)
collection event). This contract should cover one collection event for 2023. Event date is scheduled for June 10, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The proposal should include services to collect, handle, pack, lawfully transport, recycle, reuse, treat, and/or dispose of (at a permitted disposal facility) household hazardous waste material for the City of Norcross, Georgia.

no later than 11AM by February 1, 2023.
Proposals should be submitted via (1) an original binder bound copy of the proposal in a PDF
format in a sealed envelope(s)/package(s) addressed to:
Jalia Killings - Planner, GIS, Sustainability,
City of Norcross, 65 Lawrenceville St. Norcross GA 30071;
and marked Household Hazardous Waste Event – CDP23-01 as well as (2) a digital copy hard copy to Jalia Killings at jalia.killings@norcrossga.net no later than 11AM on February 10,
2023.
Contract will be awarded: March 10, 2023 by 3:00 PM.
HHW Event Set up: June 9, 2023 (if needed)
HHW Event: June 10, 2023 from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
The City of Norcross reserves the right to cancel or reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities or irregularities, and to award the contract based on the highest evaluation and in best interest of the City of Norcross.
Proposers may partially respond to the RFP, provided the response encompasses the entirety of the services offered by the company. Alternatively, additional services may be performed by the
company in other capacities if they are not requested in the scope of work of this RFP.
