The Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Milledgeville will accept sealed bids for the demolition and disposal of 2 buildings located at 107 & 115 South Wayne Street, Milledgeville, Georgia. Bid documents and specifications may be obtained in person from the Accounting/Purchasing Department, 127 E. Hancock Street, Milledgeville, GA 31061, Attention: Jacque H. Huley, CPPB, Procurement Coordinator. A copy of the bid documents can also be downloaded from the City of Milledgeville’s web site at https://www.milledgevillega.us/index.php/purchasing-and-bids/. Sealed bids must be submitted to the City of Milledgeville Accounting/Purchasing Department by Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. (local time). Sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chambers. All bidders are required to submit an original and one (1) copy of their bid documents at the time of submission. All bids submitted should be enclosed in a sealed envelope and should be clearly marked “60550-2024-0005 DEMOLITION AND DISPOSAL” on the outside of the envelope. Any bids received after the time due will not be considered for award and shall be retained as documentation for the bid file.

The City of Milledgeville, Georgia reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to cancel this invitation to bid and waive technicalities in any part deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Milledgeville.
