The City of Statesboro is seeking general contractors for the rehabilitation of approximately eleven (11) homes funded under the City¿s Housing Rehabilitation Program. The bidder must be licensed as a Georgia General Contractor if the individual unit bid is greater than $2,500. Contracts will be awarded based on a competitive bidding process. A non-mandatory contractors¿ meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 12:00 PM at the Statesboro Municipal Court Building, 22 West Grady Street, Statesboro, GA. A copy of the bid package may be obtained at the contractors¿ meeting or by emailing bids@insight-pd.com. There is no charge for receiving bid packages. Bids will be due by Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 12:00 PM, and opened and read promptly thereafter, at the Statesboro Municipal Court Building, 22 West Grady Street, Statesboro, GA.
