Sealed bids, which shall be clearly marked on the outside “Bid for the 2023 Asphalt Road Resurfacing Services” with the return address, will be received by the Gilmer County Board of Commissioners, at the Commissioner’s Office, 1 Broad Street, Suite 106, Ellijay, Georgia 30540 until April 26, 2023 at 2:00 PM Local Time and at that hour opened and publicly read aloud for 2023 Asphalt Road Resurfacing Services as described below:
The roads for repaving are:

•        CR-0 Spring Drive beginning at Sassafras Road going down the hill and ending at Spring Drive, .10 mile
•        CR-116 Hudson Martin Road beginning at Rackley Road and ending at Mail Box 597, .30 mile
•         CR-19 Leonard Evans Road beginning at Old Tails Creek Road and ending at Roberts Ridge Road, .63 mile
•        CR-130 Parker Drive beginning at Roy Road and ending at Tickanetley Road, .70 mile
•        CR-130 Tickanetley Road beginning at Parker Drive and ending at Old Bucktown Road, 1.0 mile
•        CR-193 Yukon Road beginning at East Ellijay City Limits and ending at Pickens County Line, 8.40 miles

The asphalt will be 12.55 mm Superpave.
The work consists of furnishing labor, materials, equipment and Bituminous Material (Tach) and performing all work in accordance with the Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, 2001 Editions as amended by supplemental specifications and contract provisions.
