North Carroll Waterlines Installation Contract

Sealed Bids for the construction of approx. 42,000 ft. of waterlines, ranging in size from 2 in. to 12 in., and assoc. appurtenances will be received by CCWA at their Admin Office located at 556 Old Bremen Rd, Carrollton, GA 30117 until 2:00 p.m., Sept. 7, 2023, and then at said office, publicly opened and read aloud.

This Contract will include work in areas ranging from major streets and hwys. to low lying easement areas next to creeks and streams. The OWNER will provide straight lengths of pipe along with procured fittings and appurtenances as listed in the Contract Docs. The CONTRACTOR shall furnish all other materials, implements, machinery, equipment, tools, transportation and labor required for safe prosecution and completion of work.

Contract Docs may be examined and/or obtained at CCWA’s Admin Office located at the address listed above, and obtained in hardcopy or digital form upon payment of $50 nonrefundable per set in cash or check payable to CCWA. Contract Docs are also available for examination at Dodge Construction Network.

The successful CONTRACTOR shall also be required to meet or exceed all qualification requirements as listed in the Instructions to Bidders, copies of which are available upon request.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at CCWA’s Admin Office at the address listed above on Aug. 23, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.

Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the Bid.

The Successful Bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. All bonds shall be provided by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of GA and acceptable to the OWNER.

The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in best interest of the OWNER.
