Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish an agency contract with a qualified supplier who will provide a Central Authentication Service (CAS) Identity Provider (IDP) for a Single Sign-On (SSO) service to the University of Georgia (the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP.
UGA will need to continue to use the Central Authentication Service (CAS) Identity Provider (IDP) for a Single Sign-On (SSO) service. The SSO service is a centralized authentication solution that allows users to access multiple applications, systems, or services with just one set of login credentials ¿ the UGA MyID. With SSO, users can use their MyID to log in once using a single username and password and will not need to re-enter their credentials each time they switch between applications. For additional security, a second factor (multi-factor access) can be used to gain access to a variety of sensitive resources.
An Agency Contract will be awarded to the highest scoring responsive and responsible supplier with whom UGA can reach agreement on terms and conditions. The Agency Contract award will be for one year initially with four annual renewals available at UGA's discretion.
