2023 STREET RESURFACING BID
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Americus for a Contractor to provide all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for street resurfacing.

The contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive qualified bidder whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth herein; provided, however, that if the bid from the responsible and responsive bidder exceeds the funds budgeted for the contract, the City may negotiate with such apparent low bidder to obtain a contract price within the budgeted amount. Such negotiations may include changes in the scope of work and other bid requirements.

Bids will be received by the City of Americus at 101 W. Lamar Street Americus, Ga. 31709, 3rd floor, office 307, no later than 2:00 p.m. local time on         March 12th, 2024. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at this location at 10:00 am. local time on March 15th. Bids will be evaluated by the City and the project award is anticipated upon completion of this evaluation.

Any questions regarding the meaning or interpretation of the Contract, Contract General Conditions, Specifications, or Instructions to Bidders, shall be directed in writing to Mr. David Wooden, Interim Public Works Director, by email at dwooden@americusga.gov no later than 12:00 p.m. on March 8th ,        2024 .
