The City of Statesboro, Georgia invites the submission of sealed bids for a construction project known as Bid Project #2024 ENG-122c also titled East Main Street Sidewalk project from qualified contractors. Sealed bids will be received by the City of Statesboro¿s Purchasing Division until 3:00 PM, local time, on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after bid closing time in the Municipal Courtroom located at 22 W. Grady Street, Statesboro, Georgia 30458. The project includes the installation of 85 LF of 54¿ diameter culvert, 5¿ ADA compliant sidewalks and handicap ramps, curb and gutter, full depth roadway replacement over culvert, and stormwater infrastructure. A required pre-bid conference for this project will be held at 10:00 AM local time, on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 in the Statesboro Municipal Courtroom located at 22 West Grady Street, Statesboro, Georgia 30458. Bids will not be accepted from bidders that do not attend the required pre-bid conference. Project scheduling, coordination, and questions of interpretation will be addressed at this time.
