RFP P50189 - Automated Fare Collection (AFC) System 2.0
Description:
MARTA is seeking Proposals from Firms to provide solutions for MARTA’s Automated Fare Collection (AFC) System 2.0 Project, which includes, but is not limited to, designing, manufacturing, furnishing, and installing an integrated system for the purposes of collecting rail and bus fares and parking fees, initializing, dispensing and processing fare media and revenue, and collecting, reporting, and recording data concerning the revenue and the passengers using the Authority’s transit system. Exhibit A describes features, requirements, system capabilities, technical components, processes, policies, integrations, performance criteria and service levels that the Contractor will deliver, along with the general processes to be followed to design, develop, test, implement, transition, operate and maintain AFC 2.0. Proponents are encouraged to be creative in proposing innovative solutions to meet the stated requirements and capabilities.
