The intent of these specifications is to solicit bids from qualified firms to provide doors, frames, hardware and installation services on an "as needed" basis, through annual contracts awarded as a result of this invitation to bid process. The resulting contract will be primarily used by and administered by the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) Capital Projects Division and Maintenance and Operations Division.

The District expects to award contracts to multiple vendors to lock in their unit prices during the contract term. The District will then request job orders using the awarded contractors at the contracted unit prices on an "as needed" basis.
