Description


Purpose of Procurement
Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide a full Property and Event Management Solution to the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia By and On Behalf of the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education and Hotel (the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP.  This intent of this event is to issue a single award, but the State Entity reserves the right to award multiple awards.
The Georgia Center is looking for a comprehensive solution to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of it¿s conference management functions.  This will be a single award.  There will be an optional bidder's conference on 11/17/2022 at 10AM Eastern Time, located at the Georgia Center - 1197 South Lumpkin Street Athens, Georgia 30602.  Questions will be due on 11/22/2022 at 12PM.   Parking is available in the South Campus Parking Deck, located next to the Georgia Center for Continuing Education and Hotel.
As a unit of Public Service & Outreach at the University of Georgia, the Center for Continuing Education and Hotel (Georgia Center) is committed to its mission of enriching the lives of generations of learners and producing lasting impact through outstanding educational programs and services. For 65 years, the Georgia Center has been a gateway to the University of Georgia for generations of guests and visitors.

Today, the Georgia Center plays an even more critical role in providing continuing education services to learners of all ages and backgrounds. The Georgia Center¿s hotel/conference facility has 198 hotel rooms, more than 20 conference rooms, and banquet spaces serving as many as 400 guests. Additionally, we have two retail dining outlets.  In fiscal year 2022, the Georgia Center hosted 635 continuing education events with over 53,000 participants.
