Description


Purpose of Procurement
Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued to establish a contract with one or more qualified suppliers who will provide UWG Food Service and Hospitality Temporary Staffing to the University of West Georgia (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFQ.
The purpose of this RFQ is to solicit quotes for temporary food service, catering, and hospitality focused staffing services to augment the existing part-time and fulltime staffing levels at UWG. This will be a multi-award agreement for use at the discretion of UWG. UWG reserves the right to determine which awardee will best serve the staffing needs for each timeframe or event. Supplier should take the multi-award nature of this proposal into account within their bid response. Please reference section 6.6 of the Scope of Work document (Attachment A) for additional information regarding award selection.Peek utilization for these services historically occurs during the beginning of each semester in August and January, as well as peak catering needs during Football season and Basketball season at the University.

UWG reserves the right to exclude or to request additional services during the term of the Agreement. The University is seeking proposals from Suppliers who are capable of, and oriented toward, providing a high level of customer service to the UWG community. It is UWG¿s goal to award to Supplier¿s who reflect UWG¿s commitment to quality services as outlined in the bid requirements. The Supplier and its services should promote professionalism, hospitality, cleanliness, and service quality at all times.

The Supplier should respond to this Request for Quote (RFQ) by agreeing to meet the UWG specific requirements and terms of this document, and submitting all required documentation as outlined in the bid posting. In addition, the Supplier¿s response must complete the cost sheet (Attachment D.) and be fully inclusive of any charges associated with services requested.
