The City of Sandy Springs (¿City¿ or ¿Sandy Springs¿) is soliciting responses (¿Response(s)¿) to this RFP to select a qualified consultant to provide design services (¿Consultant¿) for the Peachtree Dunwoody Bike/Pedestrian Trail Last Mile Connectivity (LMC) Project (¿TS131 Project¿). The goal of the Project is to improve bicycle and pedestrian facilities between Hammond Drive and Mt. Vernon Highway. The TS131 Project consists of the design, right-of-way acquisition, utility coordination and construction of a bicycle/pedestrian side path on the west side of Peachtree Dunwoody Road from Hammond Drive to Mt. Vernon Highway. Additionally, this project should incorporate the Perimeter Center Improvement District (PCID)¿s standard streetscape elements (lighting, brick pavers, and landscaping).
