Sealed Bids for the construction of the Emergency Generator Improvements ¿ DWDRA20005 will be received, by the City of Damascus, at Damascus City Hall ¿8120 Joe Bryan Street, Damascus, GA 39841, until 2:00 PM local time on December 14, 2023, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. No bids maybe withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days except as specifically detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. The Project consists of +/- 1 new 68kw, portable trailer mounted diesel generator with a voltage selection switch to provide 240/120V, 3 phase, 4 wire as well as 240/120V, 1 phase, 3 wire outputs, 2 manual transfer switches, existing control panel modifications, and all additional appurtenances needed for a complete generator installation. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.
