The City of Roswell is seeking a qualified contractors that can provide construction services to add an additional 4,987 (approx. 68'-0" x 73'-4") square feet A-4 occupancy to the existing Physical Activity Center, a Gymnasium complex used by the City of Roswell to promote resident recreation programs. Then Project also includes site-work, concrete, unit masonry, ribbed face veneer, structural steel, hollow metal frames, doors and hardware, interior finishes, heating-ventilating-air conditioning, and electrical systems.

Contractors submitting Bids must attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and walk the site prior to submitting a proposal. Exactly 180 calendar days have been set aside for performance of the contract.

Bids will be opened in person at Roswell City Hall, Room 130, 38 Hill Street, at the date and time listed on the project event calendar for Project Closing Date. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% is required. Payment and Performance bonds equal to 100% of the Awarded Contract value are required.

The City of Roswell has the right to reject any or all bids; to award a contract in the best interest of the City and to waive technicalities and informalities.

Any pre-bid conference for the Project, and its status as a mandatory or non-mandatory event, will be provided on, and held in accordance with the Project Schedule posted on the designated website – if posted as an event. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend mandatory pre-bid conferences.
