Description
The City of Madison, Georgia, is requesting bids from duly qualified and eligible entities for site work for Madison Cemetery Expansion I (BID #2023‐4950‐001). The existing 19‐acre moderately wooded site in the City of Madison will be developed for the first phase of the cemetery expansion. Phase I scope of work includes approximately 9 acres of clearing, grubbing, and grading to install approximately 1,400 linear feet of 20' wide drive with a 12' wide loop road. In addition to the road construction, a stormwater detention pond shall be constructed along with an HDPE pipe conveyance system, outlet control structure, and concrete pond outlet pipe. Designated burial areas will be graded to match the designated slopes and hydro‐seeded per the seeding chart on the plans to establish permanent vegetation. The site disturbance requires a three‐phased erosion control plan and the contractor is responsible for implementing the erosion control measures as designated on the plans. Walls shown in the plan are not in the contract and will be installed at a later date. A 3" water line shall be installed from the nearest City water main to the loop road as shown on the plans along with conduit for future utilities as shown on the plans. Finally, the contractor shall install tree plantings as designated on the landscape plan.
