Description


Sealed proposals including a cost break-down in CSI 33-Division format from General Contractors, consisting of sub-bids from prequalified subcontractors will be received by the Owner, City of Jefferson, at the office of the Owner located at 147 Athens Street, Jefferson, Georgia 30549, until 2:00 p.m. local time on May 2, 2023 for the construction of the project entitled “City of Jefferson Aquatic Center”. At the time and place noted above, the proposals for the project will be publicly opened and read. Accommodations for the receipt of bidding pricing and information to be included with sealed proposals will not be provided at the location for receipt of Bids. Generally, the scope of the work includes finish site work, paving, foundations, structural framing of (2) fabric structures and (1) concrete masonry building, roofing, carpentry, casework, interior finishes, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection and electrical for a building of approximately 34,444 square feet of new construction. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the site, at 2495 Old Pendergrass Road, Jefferson, GA30549 on April 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Bidding Documents may be obtained through the office of the Architect: Contact:TIM@CIRCLESQUAREARCHITECTS.COM. Bidders are advised that acquisition of bidding documents through any source other than the office of the Architect is prohibited. Acquisition of bidding documents from unauthorized sources places the bidder at risk of receiving incomplete or inaccurate information upon which to base his bid proposal. As the submission of an incomplete or inaccurate bid proposal could jeopardize the quality or completeness of the Work, any bidder found to be acquiring documents from an unauthorized source may cause his bid to be null and void and rejected from consideration for the award of the Contract or Subcontract.
