Notice is hereby given that The Washington County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed bids submitted to its office at 119 Jones Street, Sandersville, Georgia 31082, no later than
11:00 a.m., local time FRIDAY, JANUARY 6TH, 2023, for renovations to the Washington County Health Department.

Bids to be mailed should be addressed to the above address and marked as Washington County Health Department Renovation and Addition. Bid Documents can be obtained online by request to info@carterwatkins.com. No copies will be printed or mailed. Bidders are responsible for accessing PDF files online and having prints made. All Bidders are responsible to check the Architect’s FTP Site for any Addenda that have been issued. Bidders shall acknowledge all addenda and any subsequent addenda on the bid form. Bidders shall contact Julie Oberle, 478-552-3210, to see the facility if desired. The Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion within 270 days from the date of Commencement.

The project is funded in part by a Community Development Block Grant. Bidders must comply with all Department of Community Affairs requirements and not be on the debarred list. Section 3 policies and procedures must be followed. Refer to CDBG Clauses in the project manual. Bidders are to provide Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act Affidavit with the bid proposal and a Bid Bond. Omission of any completed form can make the bidder non-responsive.

A Performance Bond equal to 100% of the Contract Price and a Payment Bond equal to 110% of the Contract Price will be required. Proof of General Liability Insurance and Workman’s Compensation Insurance is required with Washington County listed as an additional insured. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Funds in the amount of 5% of the Bid Amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any technicalities or irregularities and award the bid based on the best interests of Washington County.
