The City of Statesboro is soliciting for sealed bids to perform work, from qualified contractors, under the contract for Bid Project #2024 STM-38 also known as the Donnie Simmons Way Culvert Upgrades Project. The project includes the installation of a new 72" x 48" box culvert, Catch Basins, Curb and Gutter, water-main utility relocations and traffic striping. The work will include but is not limited to the following: clearing, excavating, demolition and removal of existing piping, setting grade, concrete forming, installing rebar, concrete pouring, utility relocation, paving, and traffic striping. Sealed bids will be received by the City of Statesboro at 22 West Grady Street, Statesboro, Georgia 30458 until 3:00 PM EST on Wednesday, February 7, 2023 at the office of Darren Prather, Director of Central Services. At this time, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Statesboro Municipal Court Room, subsequently. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to Darren Prather, Director of Central Services and Purchasing via FedEx, UPS USPS, or hand-delivered. Emailed bids, unsealed bids, and bids received after the designated time will not be considered. The deadline to request for information is Monday, January 29, 2024 at 3:00 PM EST.
