The City of Statesboro¿s Engineering Department is requesting for proposals of professional design services to construct a right turn lane along the east side of SR 67/Fair Road from Pitt Moore Road to Zetterower Avenue under the project name: 2024 RFP ENG-124f: SR67 Fair Road. This project is to alleviate the issues caused by several businesses having traffic backup into travel lanes during peak hour times. It would also improve the radius of the intersections at Zetterower Avenue and Pitt Moore Road. Plan Presentation format will be per Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) PPG and reflected in the final design. All design must be in accordance with the latest AASHTO, MUTCD, and GDOT Standards and Specifications. All plans will have to go forward to GDOT for encroachment permitting, strict adherence to GDOT¿s PPG will be expected of the successful bidder.
