Purpose of Procurement
Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued to establish a contract with one or more qualified suppliers who will provide GSU Food Service Equipment Package to the University System of Georgia by and on behalf of Georgia State University (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFQ.
The University is seeking Quotes from Distributor(s) which are capable of, and oriented toward, providing a high level of customer service to the University community. It is the University's goal to select Distributor(s) which reflect the University's commitment to quality services.  The Distributor(s) must be established and be within appropriate delivery distance to the metro Atlanta area in order to expedite and to resolve customer service issues. The University prefers to have Distributor(s) with higher education and/or with state institution, or comparable corporate experience.  Distributor(s)¿ companies shall have the background and operational experience in sustainability, recycling, and promoting local industry efforts.
