INVITATION TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS

Sealed proposals from construction management firms will be received by the Sumter County Board of Education, Americus, Georgia, Owner, in the Office of the Sumter County Board of Education, 100 Learning Way, Americus, Georgia 31719 until 2:00 P.M. prevailing time on December 6, 2022 for Construction-Management-At-Risk services for the construction of Sumter County Schools HVAC Improvements, Americus, Georgia.

There will be a Pre-Proposal Meeting at 10:00 A.M. on November 29, 2022, in the Office of the Sumter County Board of Education, 100 Learning Way, Americus, Georgia 31719. Attendance at the pre-proposal meeting is mandatory. Parties not attending the pre-proposal meeting will not be eligible to submit proposals for CM services.

At the time and place noted above, the proposals for the project will be received by the Board of Education. No extension of the proposal period will be made.

Scope of Work: The scope of the project consists of modifications to the Hvac systems and duct work and associated work including partial replacement of ceilings, construction of partitions required for duct work and electrical work at the following facilities:
1.        Sumter County Primary School
2.        Sumter County Elementary School
3.        Sumter Counter Middle School
4.        Sumter Counter Intermediate School
5.        Sumter County Board Office
6.        Sumter County Bus Maintenance Facility
7.        Sumter County Maintenance Office Building

The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities.
