Enhancements to existing 2.0 MGD Water Treatment Facility. Major components include the restoration of 2 each 1.0 MGD package filter units and associated controls with new filter media and associated internal components of each filter unit. Each filter unit will be converted from a Roberts system to a Trident system. All controls shall be upgraded as well. And existing blowers shall be replaced as well. Work also includes repairing any interior coating failures in each filter. Note: the filter equipment package by Westech Engineering, LLC for the 2 each 1.0 MGD package filter units is currently under order and being supplied by Rabun County.
