The State of Georgia, Department of Natural Resources Environmental Protection (DIVISION) is soliciting Requests for Quotes (RFQ) that will establish an open agency Contract with one qualified CONTRACTOR who will provide lab testing for the presence or absence of asbestos concentration in drinking water samples to the Department of Natural Resources. The CONTRACTOR will chemically analyze drinking water samples taken from selected Public Water Systems (PWSs) located throughout the State of Georgia to determine the Asbestos concentration. PWSs¿ participation in the Asbestos drinking water sampling project is a requirement of the Division¿s Chemical Waiver Program. An estimate of up to one hundred eleven (111) drinking water samples per year may be examined in this study if needed. All analyses must be performed on site of the contracted laboratory.
