The Classic Center Authority (¿CCA¿), an Authority of the State of Georgia, in cooperation with the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County (ACCGov), is soliciting bids for SMOKE CONTROL SYSTEM ACCEPTANCE TESTING and CERTIFICATION Services for the Classic Center Arena Project (¿Project¿), which is currently under construction adjacent to The Classic Center, in Athens Georgia. The Arena is one of a set of capital improvement projects included in a Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) which was approved by voters on November 5, 2019.
This Invitation to Bid (¿ITB¿) seeks bids from interested qualified providers (Consultant) of the above-mentioned services. This ITB seeks general qualifications and relevant experience data for ¿responsibility¿ information, as well as a firm, fixed price for the entire provision and services required for successful certification as described herein. The CCA intends to award an ACCGov Services Contract to the lowest responsible and responsive qualified bidder. All respondents to this ITB are subject to instructions communicated in this document and are cautioned to completely review the entire ITB and follow instructions carefully.
