Sealed Bids for the construction of the Elevated Water Storage Tank Rehabilitation will be received, by the City of Norman Park, at the 154 East Broad Street, Norman Park, GA 31771, until 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 19, 2023. Any Contractor submitting a bid must be a licensed General Contractor by the State of Georgia. In general, work consists of miscellaneous tank repairs and interior and exterior painting, including draping, blasting, disposal of lead-based paint, and all associated measures for the complete project. This work will be awarded in one (1) contract with a 90 consecutive calendar day construction schedule. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory for prospective bidders. All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount.
