Sealed bids will be received by LUMPKIN COUNTY WATER AND SEWERAGE AUTHORITY for the construction of CANE BRANCH WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT at 194 Courthouse Hill, Annex A, Dahlonega, GA 30533 until 10:00 AM local time, on February 15, 2024, and then publicly opened and read aloud at the Lumpkin County Administration Building First Floor Conference Room, 99 Courthouse Hill, Dahlonega, GA 30533. The Work consists of furnishing all materials and equipment and performing all labor necessary for the construction of Phase 1 (0.25 MGD) of the Cane Branch Wastewater Treatment Plant. This includes new process structures, rotary drum screens, membrane bioreactor system, UV disinfection, sludge dewatering, control building, electrical and control systems, along with any necessary appurtenances. The project is scheduled to be completed within a contract time of 540 days. The entire scope of work will be awarded as a single contract. Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained from Peoples & Quigley, Inc. at (404) 255-2650 for $250 per set, nonrefundable, until 48 hours before the bid opening. Contractors will be added to the list of Plan Holders and will be eligible to bid upon receipt.
