Description


Purpose of Procurement
Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued to establish a contract with one or more qualified suppliers who will provide GSU - College of Law ¿ Multipurpose Conference Room Lighting Upgrade to the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia by and on behalf of Georgia State University (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFQ.
Replace The existing system which is comprised of End-of-Life Fixtures and Controls which need to be upgraded to ensure continued functionality of the space without interfering other rooms use of the control system.¿ Replace thirty-nine (39) mostly inoperable and obsolete Pendant Linear Fluorescent Fixtures with comparable design LED fixtures.¿ Replace five (5) 6¿ dimmable downlights.¿ Replace three (3) 8¿ track fixtures with four (4) track heads on each.¿ Replace existing End-of-Life Crestron CLS-iLux System with new Creston GLNET Series 4 Processor System.¿ The Conference room (002) has two accordion divider walls and it can be divided into three individual Salons. Thus, the replacement control system should be able to operate the lights, A/V, and sensors as one single room when the divider is not being used or as three individual rooms.¿ Drywall patching and painting may be required to fish new devices.¿ Programming to include A/V integration as requested. Further input from GSU-COL in house A/V Programmer/Integrator will be required at time of programming. Coordination to follow.

Overview of the eRFQ ProcessThe objective of the eRFQ is to select one or more qualified suppliers to provide the goods and/or services outlined in this eRFQ to the State Entity.  This eRFQ process will be conducted to gather and evaluate responses from supplier for potential award.  All qualified suppliers are invited to participate by submitting responses, as further defined below.  After evaluating all suppliers¿ responses received prior to the closing date of this eRFQ and resolution of any contract exceptions, the preliminary results of the eRFQ process will
