Description


The City of Richmond Hill is seeking proposals from qualified firms to manage and operate the Richmond Hill City Center. This RFP is for the purpose of selecting a firm to enter into negotiations with the City of Richmond Hill (City) to operate and provide management services for the Richmond Hill City Center (RHCC) in Richmond Hill, Georgia.

The City intends to qualify firms first and evaluate the proposals from those firms meeting the minimum qualification requirements. To be qualified, contractors should be able to demonstrate significant experience in the management/operation of conference center or other related facilities.

Copies of the Management/Operator Request for Proposal and Qualification Documents are available for inspection and distribution at Richmond Hill City Hall, 40 Richard R. Davis Drive, City Hall, Richmond Hill, GA 31324 or the City¿s website. All inquiries concerning this RFP should be made to Chris Lovell, City Manager at the above location or at (912)756-3345. All interested firms will be required to complete the Management/Operator Request for Proposal and Qualification Documents and submit said information to the City Manager's office at City Hall no later than 4:00 PM EST, Friday, March 1, 2024.

Each of the responses to the Qualifications Questionnaire shall be reviewed by an evaluation panel and scored based on organization, licensing certifications, experience, references, financial capacity, and management/operations. Any respondent failing to achieve the minimum qualification score shall be deemed unqualified and the accompanying proposal response will be considered not in compliance with this process and left unopened.

All responses from qualified proposers will then be reviewed. Following a review of the proposal responses by the evaluation panel, meetings may be scheduled with any or all of the Proposers. During the review process, the evaluation panel will analyze qualifications, request written clarification and may hold
