Purpose of Procurement
Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide GCSU Snack Vending Services to Georgia College and State University as further described in this eRFP.

Georgia College & State University is seeking proposals from reputable offerors to operate and provide snack vending services for the campus. The contract must be satisfactory and subject to the supervision and control of the University. The award of this proposal would establish an Agency contract for up to five (5) years, consisting of an initial six-month term and up to four one-year renewals. The initial term of the agreement shall have a commencement date of January 1, 2023, and end date of June 30, 2023. Future one-year terms will run July 1 to June 30 to coincide with the University¿s fiscal year. A reasonable financial return to the University is required.

The successful offeror must be a firm organized primarily for the purpose of operating a line of vending machines for beverage and snack vending on a university campus. The offeror must be able to respond to the campus in a timely manner to address any issues regarding inoperable vending machines. The offeror must be prepared to provide up to date, modern, sanitary and safe machines for vending services requested by Georgia College & State University, hereinafter called ¿the University.¿ A bid award will be split between the best commission rate and proof of a demonstrated ability to perform to the standards outlined in the Scope of Work using Offeror References.
