Description
The project involves installation of a new check valve in the existing 36-inch diameter ductile iron pipe Lower Big Haynes Creek force main at the Brooks Road Pump Station site. The work consists of site clearing, locating and excavating the existing force main, cutting a portion of piping out, installing the new check valve and piping, installing a new concrete vault, backfilling and compaction, finish grading, erosion control and site stabilization, site restoration, and all related appurtenances for a complete and functioning system.
