The City of Cumming (Owner) is requesting Proposals for the installation/construction of a security fence and gate for the City of Cumming's Distribution Division Storage Facility at Mountain Road. Sealed Proposals will be accepted until 11:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, Cumming City Hall, Utility Department – Front Desk, located at 100 Main Street, Cumming, GA 30040. At that time, the Proposals received will be privately opened, read, and scored. The overall project consists of the installation/construction of approximately 1,900 linear feet of black, vinyl wrapped, metal fencing surrounding the storage area with an automated security gate for entry/exiting. The automated gate shall include the installation of an access keypad used for opening/closing by designated personnel. The project shall include furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, and any appurtenances as necessary for completion of the work described within these plans and specifications. The Project has an expected duration of 365 days. Upon payment of $150.00 (non-refundable), the Contractor will be added to the Plan Holders list and eligible to submit a proposal for the project.
