INVITATION TO BID
BID NO. 23-040-1620

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will accept sealed bids until 2:00 p.m. (EST), 9/21/23, for the following:

Furnishing all materials, labor and equipment required for Forsyth County Parks & Recreation Bathroom Renovations located at Central Park, Coal Mountain Park & South Forsyth Soccer Complex.

Pre-bid meeting will be held Tuesday, August 29th at 10:00am.
Locations: (Start) South Forsyth Soccer Complex, Coal Mountain Park, (End) Central Park.

No bids will be accepted after 2:00 p.m. (EST) via Bonfire, September 21st, 2023.

Copies of the Bid documents may be downloaded at no cost at www.forsythco.com on the “Procurement Bid Portal (Bonfire)” page.

All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check drawn in favor of the Board of Commissioners of Forsyth County, Georgia, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a contract, will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond, in an amount of 100% full penal sum of the Contract and Payment Bond, in an amount equal to 100% of the full amount of the Contract, as provided by law. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Board of Commissioners of Forsyth County, Georgia, as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after being notified of award of the Contract.

No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening, thereof.

All bids shall be submitted through Bonfire at www.Bonfire.com. Paper bids will not be accepted.

Award of bid will be made at a later date. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

Bidders and the general public are invited to attend the bid opening at 2:30 p.m. (EST), 9/21/23 at Forsyth County Procurement Department, 514 West Maple Street, Suite 104, Cumming, Georgia.
