Description

Statements of qualifications and proposals are being requested from engineering firms with a strong record in successfully assisting local governments, utility commissions, and authorities with the implementation of Federally Funded projects and programs specific to water and wastewater infrastructure development and installation. Responding firms should be technically qualified and licensed in the State of Georgia to provide these services. The selected firm may be utilized to perform projects involving any of the following: GEFA SRF, USDA, EDA, EIP, CDBG, ARPA, and potentially others. Work to be performed could include drinking water distribution, source development, storage and treatment projects, wastewater collection, and treatment projects.
The Eatonton Putnam Water and Sewer Authority (EPWSA) plans to contract for engineering design services for one or more federally funded (partially or fully) projects that will likely require a two-step procedure for procurement. For this reason, submitting firms should plan to provide Statements of Qualifications as well as an RFP (100 points). The Authority shall then review both the qualifications and RFP¿s to create a shortlist of potential firms. Should they be shortlisted, the firm shall participate in an interview process prior to selection. The firms will then be ranked based on the interview and RFP provided. The interview process will be carried out over an internet conferencing platform to streamline the process for EPWSA and the proposers.
