Description
City of Kingsland Purchasing Department is accepting proposals from qualified vendors to construct Asphalt Resurfacing on City streets.
¿ Mill and level existing asphalt as needed.
¿ Overlay with 1.5" of 12.5 hot mix asphalt
¿ Taper asphalt on all aprons to driveways and connecting streets.
¿ Asphalt mix and tack coat application are to be completed to GDOT standards.
¿ Pavement milling for transition will be required where new overlays join existing streets at Laurel Island Parkway, Georgia Hwy 40/East King Avenue, and Scrubby Bluff Road.
¿ Restripe street to match existing striping with thermoplastic and reflective beads.
¿ City will provide manhole risers and valve box extensions.
¿ Work is to include traffic control.
¿ Striping to match existing layout including R X R crossings, stop bars, crosswalks and long lines unless otherwise noted.
