DeKalb County Sanitation Division is seeking a vendor to process residential single-stream recycling materials, commercial cardboard, and mixed paper at no cost or rebate to the County.
The Bidder shall grant the County access six (6) days (Monday thru Saturday) a week to unload trucks from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each operating day. In case of emergency conditions, the facility shall be able to extend access hours to 24 hours per day upon the County’s request.
The Bidder shall be capable of handling residential single-stream recyclables, commercial cardboard, and mixed paper tonnage delivered by the County in walking floor trailers, commercial front loaders or residential rear loader trucks. The Bidder shall have a facility in place to accept residential single-stream curbside collected recyclables in at least one of the following Counties: DeKalb, Rockdale, Henry, Clayton, Fulton, Cobb or Gwinnett. Bidder shall provide unloading priority to all DeKalb County vehicles at the facility.
