All questions related to the Project must be submitted via email no later than 4:00 p.m., local time, on May 16, 2023, to the Owner’s Procurement Coordinator, at procurement@ccmwa.org. Questions, if answered, will be addressed by addendum to the Contract Documents. Receipt of any amendment to this Request for Proposal shall be acknowledged in writing and shall be submitted with the proposal. Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority will not orally or telephonically address any question or clarification regarding specifications or procedures.
The Owner may make such investigations as he deems necessary to determine the ability of the bidder to perform the work. By submission of his Bid, the Bidder acknowledges the right of the Owner to make such investigations, to contact references and utilize this information as a basis of determining award of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such bidder fails to satisfy the Owner that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to complete the work contained therein.
All Bids must be made out on the bid form to be obtained from the Owner with the contract documents. No interlineations, additions or deletions shall be made in the bid form by the Bidder. Proposals must be signed in ink by a company official that has authorization to commit company resources.
